Name's Tuck. Rarely a fursuit maker, sometimes an artist. I dabble in the arts.

Started the year off better... (G)
So, the first week of so of the year, I was doing a sketch or something a day. Then my chronic illness flared up and didn't feel like doing anything. I feel terrible because I wanted to sketch/draw more this year and started out doing well, but every time, I swear, I try to start something, my illness flares up and I stop. Just my luck I guess.
I did volunteer for a local fur con, AnthroExpo, and had a great time. I was able to work all my scheduled shifts and see the con too. Seeing all the fursuiters really made me want to work on mine, which, when finished, will be a 3/4 suit. I've had my 3D printed head base for over 2 years and had only installed the eyes, jawset, and tongue when I originally got it. So, it's been sitting. I pulled it off the shelf yesterday and did some work on it. I started my tape pattern after redoing the elastic and installing the chin stop. I also made a pattern for the ears and cut the ear foam. I'm not done patterning it and it's back on the shelf for a moment while I try to finish a piece of art I started of an Eastern Dragon, aka noodle dragon, for the Lunar New Year. I'm very close to being done with inking, then I'll just need to color and shade it.
I'm physically feeling better, but having a difficult time getting motivated to work on my hobbies. I hope to at least try to work on things a few times a week, if not more. I'm going to try to post some WIP pics of what I'm working on to help keep motivated. Maybe if I see what I'm actually moving forward with, it will help.
Thanks for listening to my rambling.
