I go to a local university, I'm a History/Secondary Education major. I'm currently a junior and I plan on becoming a history teacher, probably at a high school but hopefully (eventually) I'll move up to the university level. My study focuses on 19th century European history, everything from the French Revolution to the beginning of World War I.

I spend most of my time writing, drawing, painting, listening to music of the Jazz/Metal variety, I'll read most any book SciFi/History/Psychology/Religious/Philosophic in nature.

Like I said, I listen to a lot of music but it's mostly weird jazz metal fusions, metal, j-rock/pop, hardcore, bebop, techno, early west coast rap, gothy, big band, classical and a bunch of other obscure genres and old timey music. Zao, Dog Fashion Disco, Mr.Bungle, Honorary Title, Idiot Flesh, Tool, Combichrist, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Venetian Snares, Sun Ra, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Demon Hunter, Black Dahlia Murder, the list goes on and on.

I don't like watching teevee because I think commercials are annoying so I just download the episodes of shows I like the day after: Futurama, the Office, Earl, the first couple seasons of Family Guy, Battlestar Galactica...etc etc.

I love movies: Horror, comedy, drama, you name it I'll sit on a couch and watch it

I read a lot of books, A LOT, some of my favorite authors are Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Ayn Rand, C.S. Lewis, Carl Sagan, Douglas Adams, Edgar Allen Poe, Eric Nylund, Frank Herbert, George Orwell, H.G. Wells, H.P. Lovecraft, Isaac Asimov, J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, Jules Verne, Larry Niven, Neil Gaiman, Orson Scott Card, Phillip K.Dick, Ray Bradbury, Richard Matheson, William C. Deitz. But really anything Historical or interesting.
