Hydrochlorothiazide with her latest journal linked here, has brought an important issue to my attention:
We need to protect Section 230! It's an amazing piece of legislation that grants our freedom to post our content online!
It protects websites, and other online platforms, like FA from being sued for what we creators post by basically putting them in charge of making sure that they can, in good faith, manage what is posted. Allowing sites like this to work with us creators to make a safe environment to express ourselves.

But the fascists, and their supporters, in congress are trying to repeal it. Enabling malicious actors, like themselves, to sue and control our free speech, creativity, and how we express our dissatisfaction with them online. They want to shut down, or control, sites like FA, Bluesky, etc. It's bad enough that that stupid laws that prompted Youtube to declare people minors unless they provide their ID was introduced. But now we got this too?! We CAN STOP THIS! PROTECT SECTION 230! Speak up! Sign petitions! Call representatives! Spread the word! Work with political activist groups! And be part of organized protests against this dumb bill!
