Though much of his past is now in a haze, it's better than being dead. Originally a Folf from what he can recall, with the Wolf half being dominant, he had apparently suffered a near fatal accident while working in his mechanical shop on his car. From what he was told, someone in the nearby garage suffered an error with the brakes and their vehicle crashed into his own garage and caused a catastrophic chain of events, none of which Stig recalls. All he remembers is that in the end he was told he was not going to make it as no medical procedure can be done to save him, but then a Dr. XXXXXXXXXX approached him and proposed to him a new but unproven and untested medical procedure that if successful could save his life, all he had to do was sign on the dotted line. If he was to survive, his procedure would be free of cost but he would have to come in weekly for as long as needed to report his state of well being to the medical staff and researchers, so at this point, what did Stig have to lose, he was a dead man anyways so why not. The rest is history, all Stig remembers after is waking up from the procedure, in a body that was no longer his, stronger, more powerful, and never done before, but still not his. The procedure was almost a complete success, Stig had survived and was now in a Living-BioLatex (skin, muscles, tissue) Nanite (skeleton) body but he was now a Shark. He still had his brain (which over time slowly converted also into Living-BioLatex) so at least he didn't feel like he lost all of his old life but it was still something to get used to, especially the fact that now he doesn't need to eat or even breath as the Living-BioLatex does that now for him as a massive lung and even works underwater, though he still needs to drink lots of water as that what the Living-BioLatex needs as well as his brain and heart. The procedure, as he was told was a miracle as the chances of success where super low due to the high probability of the genetically Shark encoded Living-BioLatex not genetically merging with his own Folf natural genetics but it did, there must have been something in his suppressed genes that allowed that and now could be researched more. There where still some clear signs though of his Folf genetics sticking out though with plenty of fur being present on his hands, arms, feet, and legs as well as fur running down his spinal column and down the tail. From what he was told these are where the nerve centers of the Living-BioLatex get concentrated and there is a high chance of the original genetics of the host showing more natural features of the old body, though the color of the fur and hair can be controlled and made to be identical to the original color of the host, due to his procedure focusing primarily on the overall success of the genetic merging, the hair and fur color was naturally chosen by how the genetics merged in Stig's case. The reason the procedure was almost a success is that Stig had lost a lot of his memory, though not fully lost too much, most of it's in a haze, but what is unusual is stuff that is naturally done subconsciously by a person have remained clear as day, like names, locations, hobbies, facial recognition, his knowledge of engineering and other items of that caliber. Stuff that Stig does on his daily life so often it's drilled into ones subconscious, Stig still remembers all of that perfectly but the surrounding details, past events, life details, and stuff of that caliber have all been lost in a haze, though still better then nothing. After being released from the hospital he was told that he would be put into a special program to help him get used to his new life and that he would need to come in every week and be interviewed and his vital signed recorded which he did. During these weekly meeting he would be interviewed by both the doctor and his primary assistant Karabina Vw.K. Ghia (please refer to the article "Backstory of Karabina Vw.K. Ghia" for more details), samples of his new body would be taken, endurance testing, vitals and so on, an during the breaks he became acquainted with an unusual feral that Karabina always took care of but then one day didn't close the door fully and he wondered out and approached Stig. He became curious of him and not afraid of who he was, Stig seeing the cute fella calmly began to pet the fella and now knowing that Stig is of no threat to him, cuddled up next to him on the waiting couch. Upon seeing this, Karabina revealed that the feral's name was Spectre (please refer to the article "Description of Spectre" for more details) and from that point on during each wait for the next test, he and Stig would hang out and play in the waiting area with each other making their friendship grow. After almost a year of these check-ups, and getting accustomed to his new life, Stig comes in one day and is taken aside by Karabina, and what she tells him changes his life even more. The doctor has passed away, she has been instructed to kill him, and knowing that he was now actually a weapon and not a new form of medical prosthetics they had to escape and go into hiding, and not leaving Spectre behind, and destroying all their tracks and even existence, with Karabina leading the way, they go flee, but not until getting some well needed help from a very close friend of Stig's to truly erase them from the map and systems, his neighbor Sarah L.
