Welcome to the Squemur Society of London, a place where you can view the art of the incredibly endangered species known as the squemur.

The squemur, a combination of lemur and squid, has been hunted throughout the world for its lustrious pelt as well as it being the source of the delicacy, Squalimari.

Now incredibly rare, we estimate that there is only around 500 of the species left in the wild, and we aim to increase that number through a rigorous captive breeding program. We have only just begun to understand the mystery and beauty of these creatures and hope to share our wonder with the rest of the world.

How can you help, you ask?

There are a variety of ways you can contirbute to the squemur society to aim us in the saving of this fantastic species.

1. Feel free to contribute art! It will be uploaded here and shared with the world, to display the beauty of the squemur. All you need to know is that the squemur is a lemur/squid hybrid, to be interpretted in any way you wish.
2. Spread the word! Let others know about the plight of the squemurs! Because knowing is half the battle!
3. At some point in the future, we may accept donations to put towards the treasury of the S.S.O.L. these funds will be used to aid the salvation of the squemur species, such as commissioned posters and t-shirts and such.
