Hey everyone. So… for everyone who knows me on Discord, I certain you all have heard about what’s going on. For those who haven’t, here’s the scoop; Starting early this March, Discord is planning on rolling out a global update call “Teen-to-default”, in which it’s supposed to enforce their safety standards for teens on their site. Who do they go about doing this? By forcing all new and existing accounts into “Teen mode” and making older users go through age verification with either facial scan or entering your ID info… either of which I’m not comfortable with, especially with how often the company they employ is prone to hacking.

So… yeah, I’m not sure where to go from here. Hope by the time it’s supposed to go out, people make a big enough concern about it that they never go through with the update. If not… well then, I suppose we’ll be looking into alternative sites for conversation.
