An update!

So that last journal back in March, huh? Feels crazy that it's already been almost a year. Feels like so much has happened to me since then. To give a brief recap, back in March I was planning on changing careers entirely and getting a whole new education. I was so incredibly sick of the kind of work I was doing, I didn't really see a way for me to remain in my field and be content. So when I said that, my intentions were fully to get some re-education and trade my field of work entirely.

However, over last Fall (really, late Summer too after my previous job ended) I talked with many people in my life and realized my expertise could still be leveraged in other kinds of jobs, ones that wouldn't be quite so terrible to me mentally. So before making a drastic multi-year career change, I decided to see if I could try working in a different environment. So I started instead looking for a new job.

Recently, I had a chance to start at a new job. It might be too early to say yet, but so far I have been having a really good time with it! Time will tell if something will change but currently I am feeling happier and more stable than I was before.

So I do think it's time to get back to the old me! The art posts didn't end quite as definitely as I had intended, thanks to posting old art and some very generous gifts from very kind folks. I will however, start comming fun art myself once again! That also includes new chapters of HRC-verse stories, though those will take a bit of time to drop, as always.

So yeah, overall things are looking up considering where my mood was during that last major update. I hope a great rest of the year to everyone reading this!
