You may remember I was posting a story here called Hero, but then I stopped.
Thing is, I didn't stop writing it. In fact, in the last five months I've been working on it to an obsessive degree I can only describe as being possessed. The old writer's saw of "I'm just a conduit" has a whole new meaning to me, now.
The upshot is, it's done. And it's a beast. 34 chapters. 400 pages. 141,788 words. It can be read on AO3 here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/34052173
Once I've recovered, because turns out being possessed by a story is pretty darned draining, I need to to think seriously about said story's future. I think it deserves proper publishing. Just a question, in the wake of my leaving Lulu because they started embracing AI and I want nothing to do with that, of how.
Open to suggestions.
