Hello hello everyone and Happy New Year! Just wanna write a quick journal about a lot of stuff. Most of it would be about commissions, some about some other stuff I plan to do, or at least want to do because god knows there's a big chance I wouldn't be able to do it. And the rest are personal stuff that I just added at the end because why not lmao.

1. First off and the main one, the commission process. I started this current batch with a different plan than my usual. Instead of going one by one, finishing one before moving to the next, the plan was to hop around and make quick progress on any story. Since I usually run out of steam working on one story for so long, getting to do another one would help me.

Yeah, no. It didn't.

Not only did I focus on one story still, I now have two or three incomplete stories weighing on my back and making me burn out even quicker, thinking about them all and its unfinished state as I trudge through the one I've chosen. So yeah, no, not doing that anymore. At least for commissions. Really sorry about that.

The old problem still persists though, I do need to work on something else from time to time to not get burned out from working on the commission story, so instead of using other commissions, I'll instead write some from my own ideas. At the very least, I can abandon them quickly without any guilt, and can come back if I need another break. This shouldn't slow down my commission output, it's already slow as it is LMAO but yeah. This will be effective immediately, which means this includes the two still waiting. Apologies for that.

2. Second is still the commissions…the price, at least. As much as I don't want to, the fees for using PayPal undeniably hurts in the long run, so I am thinking of increasing the rates…or at least add a little fee just to lessen the burden. Still unsure by how much, but just know that the next batch will have the price increase and not the current one. Will warn about it before I open again, of course, and again, apologies in advance for this.

3. Third is, personal stories. With my plan to write more of them, hopefully at least, I do want to broaden what I write. Slice of life stuff, some OC stories of them doing cute shit, worldbuilding, that sort of thing alongside my usual fare. Even then, I wanna push beyond the usual, much more extreme hyper, extreme multi, extreme growth, that kind of stuff. I will heavily tag and give warnings to those, but yeah. This year I'm going crazy. Buck wild. Any other synonyms.

4. Fourth…I wanna make a visual novel. Yeah, yeah, I know, 'Oh boy, another furry wanting to make a vn', yeah well I want to, so too bad. But for real, this is something that's been on my mind for a while, reading Furry VNs and being inspired to write one, just never had any motivation due to comms. This one is definitely a long term goal, something I'll work on at a much slower pace, but I do wanna dip my feet into it soon. Maybe start small and all. Fingers crossed.

5. Not much else but some personal stuff. I wanna do some exercise more, even just a few push ups, watch more movies and shows and read more stuff, finally finish the few games I have bought, be more active in Bluesky and the Discord servers I'm in lmao, all that stuff. Would any of this happen? Probably, probably not, but that's how life is, we all ball regardless.

And finally, thank you again for being with me. It's been close to 4 years ever since I posted my first story, and despite the trials and troubles, I'm really glad to still be here. I may stumble around and still be a mess, but am working and doing my best to fix it all…or at least try and make it less worse. Anyway, here's to a few more years, and for more growth to happen…personal and physical growth, of course. :3c
