Hey all, was my birthday yesterday and was a great time. I got a ton of amazing pics both drawn or bought by friends (which will be posted soon), I got a HUGE chunk of change back on my cash return which I will put towards living expenses and comms, etc. However, this week wasn't perfect, primarily Sunday was a struggle. After going to an awesome con on Saturday, I got told at work I got denied for a raise. I spiraled into a deep depression afterwards, constantly beating myself up because even though I can admit I made mistakes I was still strugglign mentally after a business trip went awry.



After talking with my therapist though and getting a lot of kind words and birthday messages, I pulled through and realized something: I need to define myself outside of work more. The past few months, work has consumed me. The money's been good, but I haven't been focusing on writing. And I've been wanting to create other things like YouTube videos or learn python or blender, but I keep getting lazy and slacking on that.



So this summer will be my "Summer of Creation". More stories than ever, I learn new skills like Blender and Python, maybe Javascript. And the big thing: I START STREAMING! WOO! I'm going to do my best to become my own man and learn new skills and define myself better. I'm going to evolve past the person I was and finally break out of this bubble I trapped myself in. :) That's my "Birthday Resolution" I guess!
