CanadianFursHey guys! Thanks for visiting my page. Name's Silver Nar'Rukka! Call me Silver, though. I'm a Canadian artist and casual writer in my spare time. I tend to draw sci-fi stuff with a bunch of half-naked (or completely naked) furs sprinkled in between. I love studying anatomy which explains why 99.98% of all my characters are muscular. I don't spit out as much content as others out there, but that's usually cause there's a need to challenge and improve myself with every picture.
I'm a friendly happy-go-lucky wolf so don't be afraid to say hi! It's great meeting new people. I'm an ADHD-addled gamer canine that loves hanging out with friends. When I'm not working or drawing, I play video games and tabletop RPG's like DnD and Hc Svnt Dracones (A sci-fi furry rpg). I'm a huge ass nerd, I know >.>

Brain Recovery and a New Old Place (G)
Hey everyone.
I know a lot of my journals have started with an apology, and that's not going to change for now. Sorry for the absence. As of a few weeks ago I've moved provinces again. Back to my home city, actually. With it, I've been able to get into familiar modes.
Amnesia was not on my year's bingo card. I've come to realize over the months that many events throughout the year have been purely forgotten in my head. This all started soon after recovering from my brain surgery for my seizures just over a year ago. I can say, at least, that the frequency of seizures has dropped, but I do still have them. What I've come to realize is that I've forgotten big major events throughout the year. I've forgotten about a friend I went down south, across the border, to see for weeks, my own birthday with friends and family, Christmas at my hometown, and even events from the previous place I lived at. Those events feel like they never happened. Not even the travelling to n from places, even though I've been at those places for weeks at a time. I only have the stories from others to paint a picture of what went on. As a minor addition to all that, I have even started to realize how many common words I've been stumbling to find in my head. We all do that now and then, but me for it's a whole new level. Others even see that I stumble to find words when I speak now.
Regardless, I'd say things have settled down a bit since I've been back in my hometown. I managed to claim a spot to do my traditional art. The old habits of drawing and painting are starting to return. Little by little, things are starting to get back to how they used to be. I hope to complete and share a couple of art pieces I've been working on. One's traditional (seen on my last post) and one is digital.
