hey hey

i've been mostly sleeping/recovering from surgery. my arm is still like 2x normal size and zombie colored.

this week i had my first post surgery follow up and visit to physical therapy. got x-rayed yet again (i've been irradiated to within an inch of my life by now ig) and it looks like the hardware and screws are holding everything still. there are months of PT ahead but it should go back to full function and strength by this time next year. the bone was shattered into 3-4 pieces in the elbow and a long thin crack going up lengthwise so i'm being very careful not to overdo it but feeling very lucky they were able to fix it so well.

i am finally able to sit properly upright at my desk and i'm just re-familiarizing myself with clip studio and the projects that were suddenly halted for a while. i'll be officially continuing on those now that i'm mostly off pain meds and don't need to elevate the arm as much (its so awkward trying to draw that way, every position either painful or just dropping everything constantly smh). so i'll try and finish these up asap, most just have a couple steps left to complete.
