(before it comes up...I'm a guy)
Hi. Yes, I have myself an account, here. When I draw something fuzzy, it'll likely wind up on Discord. When I draw much of anything else, it'll be with the fuzzy stuff that will be on DevArt. Well...okay, it WOULD have been, if DevArt didn't sell out to AI tech-bros, and actively assist the destruction of creativity and our planet, like a pack of Captain Planet villains.

Mostly, my older stuff can be found there in plenty. Such things as Gundams with afros, an entire week of (tame) nudity, and Mega Man getting his circuits torn out through his chest can be found there. Sounds like fun?
I need to eventually find a new, proper home for my stuff. God only knows it ain't gonna' be here, because I don't draw what this site is about, anyway.
As to commissions and so on....sorry, but I can't in good conscience promise anybody anything, in the art department. Things tend to get hectic hereabouts in Northern Virginia, so I don't want to have your money, make you wait a year, and get nothing because work sapped all of my inspiration out. I'm afraid that for the most part, the pictures are my HOBBY, and retail is currently my WORK.
Of course, you may ASK for certain kinds of things, but well...some rules I suppose are in order.
-First, no porn. It has its time, its place, and I like it just as much as the next guy without obsessing over it.....buuuuuuut I don't feel the need to contribute to the already large quantities of it on the internet. Besides, there's better artists out there who draw the stuff exclusively. Yes, they cost money. If that's such a deal-breaker, and you have issue with this rule, go spam an AI bot to slop out your newest fetish fix.
-Second, despite the 'no-porn' stuff, tasteful nudes ARE something I'll do now and again. Just don't expect ten sets of exposed, dripping genitals. Again, there's artists who would do it better, be more comfortable with it, and would be very enthusiastic about the subject. I am not.
-Third, don't expect miracles with vehicles. Motorcycles and the like aren't the kind of thing I surround myself with on a day-to-day basis, so like in the first rule, I'll be happy to tell you to find a guy who's better at them than I.
-Fourth, I promise nothin'. Unless I'm sitting there with the pencils IN MY HAND, and am reaching for the ink pens, I can't say when or if I'll get the thing done.

With scanners, comes... (G)

So, I got me some new markers, and a shiny new CanoScan scanner. Means, in the near future, I might have some good scans of this year's art, that I mostly did on lunch breaks to win back my old, neglected art skills!
That's the good news.
The bad news, is honestly something I've wrangled with since 2010 or so. Namely, that I don't expect a fat lot of anyone to give a single flaming damn. Why? Well, have a good look around this site. Hit the little "browse" icon, and what do you see? What gets the traffic, here?

Yup, the community, the Internet, and any kind of engagement exists for what is literally the one thing I have zero interest in creating: porn. I'm not judging this pile of horny bastards, stuff exists for a reason! I just don't feel a need to create the stuff, and would rather take a red-hot poker to the testicles.
That means, that this community is not, never was, nor can it ever really be, a "home" for my art. FA may bill itself otherwise, but my experience of the community is literally "porn or gtfo". Slap drooling genitalia on everything, or be ignored. Not y'all's fault, this account always existed mostly just so I could watch some friends who fled DevArt...who have since fled here, and I lost all track of them.
The Problem...is the proverbial "so, where else am I supposed to go?". Options are so damned thin, that they look like the Calvin Klein "heroin chic" ads of the 90s and 00s.
DevArt and Twitter are AI farms. Thanks, but no thanks...even if my crap isn't worth scraping.
Any Furry-Centric gallery will have the same problem: "porn or gtfo", with E621 having a lovely shade of "all the porn that the other platforms banned, or gtfo".
Tumblr is a non-starter. They want fan art/fics, or intentionally-not-conventionally-attractive LGBT makeouts...which, again, not judging that stuff, I get why people do it and it's valid! It just isn't what I DO.
Lately, I share what I do with friends on Discord!...which gets maybe one or two chortles, and then someone posts tits, and it's the same. Fucking. Problem.
Why did I disappear and stop drawing, for so long? Everything you read, above. Very little de-motivates an artist, more than a single response of "oh, hey, cute/funny" followed by the next person posting a boob, followed by twelve pages of gooners broadcasting their preference of said boob.
So, scanner waiting for a shelf that's on-order, I find myself asking...
"Where the fuck, do I need to go."
