Welcome, welcome! ○( ^皿^)っ 💜💜🖤💜💜 ♪(^∇^*)
Let's get the formalities out of the way...
I am a two-faced direwolf. I express myself in writing, (voice) acting and occasionally a drawing.
I love to shroud myself in mystery and hidden meanings.
Back when I went to school, I drew every day - on my school table ... which was wiped clean every day ... it's not like I wanted those drawings or anything ... (¬_¬")
Anyhowls!
These days I find drawing a luxury only afforded during my longer holidays, which are usually summer and winter.
I visit my profile about every season, so expect that amount of time between reactions.
I mostly write epic, dark co-lab stories, but it is all in Danish and not explicitly furry; more like Middle Earth-dark fantasy with Greek-like gods.
However, if you are interested in reading what I write, you can find out more. Check out the "Favourite "Site"-section of my profile.
Now for a short break... ⏸️
.: Why I "+watch" or fave artists :.
If I watched/faved you, it is because I enjoy your art. It is as simple as that ^_^
I do not check in to FA often, so you need not write a shout just to say: "Thank you for watching me." / "Thanks for the fav" I get plenty of those superficial appreciations >_>
You should shout because you want to; not because you feel like you must or simply because "it is just good business" :)
If I stop watching you, it just means I found something even more to my taste and since I have limited time for FA, I keep a limited number of artists I watch. As our lives pass us by, we (hopefully) change, and so too do our minds and tastes.
It does not mean that your art is bad or that it is anything personal. The fact that I watched you in the first place is a testament to your skill and attention to details 🖤

Uden dette, ville lys og glæde blot være endnu en ting vi tager for givet.
It is the bitter darkness and the cold winds that teaches us to appreciate the light and joy of an existence.
Without it, light and happiness would just be another thing we take for granted.
Still here? Not distracted by some random notification from your phone?
Then let us resume.
Currently I use FurAffinity to watch and fav artists, which I find mesmerising and inspiring. ... and because Deviant Art is corrupted by AI submissions, and I like this webdesign better >.<! ... I focus heavily on correct anatomy, but if the art piece is especially marvellous, I will let that slide >_> ...
Artistically, it is my wish one day to return to create submissions with deep lore connected to them, as what the The Werewolf Calendar was, and that the
beautifully interweaving of art and text from
darkflamewolf still is.So that was why I watch artists plus a little about me.
If you want to know more, check out my journal entries or feel free to send me a Note, I reply to those, every time I return to FA 🫶🏼
🐺 May your days be ever-merry and blessed with witchy-magicks, animals.
🐺 May your days bring light and laughter to every dark corner
🐺 May you wish to protect and seek Mother Earth's nurturing nature 🍃

Mental Meditation - The series - III (G)

Episode 3
… Has it really been another year?
Since I had to look up again what this was suppose to be, I think a recap is in order ^___^"
"The purpose of this series is to share my thoughts on drawing progression and the musings of why something in the world of creativity could be as it is. The episodes can be short, and they can be long, there is no set plan with this, only to gather all this information under the same name."
Well, time to share some more. I believe I owe all of you that ^___^
Back a year ago, I wrote this:
I await a digital device, that is able to capture the exact same feeling it is to draw on physical paper, as well as making it look like it was made in the traditional style. Such a device and software combination has not yet emerged.
This day has finally come!
Since my last post, my desired the medium (mentioned above) has come a loooong way. I finally feel like I can start to work digitally, without it forcing my artistic style to change. In other words, I feel like the strokes I am making, are starting to look very similar to those I would draw on paper with a pencil. ヾ(≧▽≦*)o
Windows Ink was always a great promise, but only recently have I found that it is really starting to come together with the hardware side of things. Which, in my current case, is a Surface Pro (5th gen).
I have also settled on an app: SketchBook.
For the uninitiated, I have searched far and wide for a proper drawing app in the Microsoft Store, and with SketchBook from Autodesk... I think I have found what is a really good foundation for this medium.
Recently I was able to confirm this milestone in app/tech combination when I was finally caught in the creative cycle of drawing and perfecting and drawing some more, and it continued for an hour and a half! Usually I gave up in frustration after about half an hour.
The result is not something I am proud of enough to share here as my official art, but it is a great beginning … or continuation… Whatever fits your fancy-- for this very slowly evolving path as an artist who draws. (I also write and RP, much more so than drawing)
You may think: "Why not just use a drawing tablet like Wacom and be done with it?"
Well, because, for me, there is a huge disconnect between drawing on a blank surface and looking somewhere else for the result.
Now, finally, is the time to fail fast and learn faster the artistic skill of drawing once more.
