Help me (G)
I know I'm not very active on here, but I could use any help I can get. This morning I had to take my cat, Doofus, to the emergency vet because he was in obvious distress whenever trying to use the litter box.
So far, I've had to pay more than $3000 just for the urgent care vets to try and diagnose him, and I've had to transfer him from one urgent care facility to another in order to get an ultrasound so they can try and figure out why he has fluid accumulating in his abdomen. The ballpark estimate from the first vet for what it might cost to put him in surgery is anywhere from 7k to 10k, which I simply can't afford.
I've made a GoFundMe to raise money to help with his vet bills, because when faced with the decision to try and save him or let him die, I obviously want to do the former.
If you're able to donate, I would greatly appreciate it. If you can't, I'd love it if you could share the link around, get as many eyes on it as possible so I can have even the slightest chance of being able to save my baby: https://gofund.me/d823b891
UPDATE: The vet doesn't think surgery is viable; there's a tumor bisecting his spleen and it's gotten to the point where too many other organs are affected for removing it to me an option. The gofundme is now a fund for paying off his vet bills and for affording in-home euthanasia so he can be comfortable when he passes.
