Finally moved! (G)
Finally, away from where I hated living the most (Michigan, ick!)
I'm back in Vegas, we have our own car, one of my cousins moved in with us (and is staying with us), and I finally have some much needed freedom to be myself, get art and projects done.
I'm working on a handful of game projects, mostly for fun/practice, one is an online game, some learning game for kids, then contemplating platformers and some other things... Taking advice I read somewhere and saying zip on it until I have more to show. Reason being is people will go "OH WHEN CAN I PLAY IT" and thinking unrealistically that ____ will be ready for play tomorrow, when that's BS.
My art book collection is also growing again which is making me happy. Picked up Fantasy Architecture, Fantasy Worlds, and The Fantasy Artist's Figure Drawing Guide, and I've already been suggesting these to my friends if anyone wants to look into them.
Physical abilities have been going totally downhill. I had xrays done (before the move) on my hip up to the middle of my back due to having a hard time walking thanks to being slammed onto concrete around 11ish years ago. Turns out there was no cracks they could find on my hip, although admitted they think I have nerve damage which explains for the random total-numbness in my leg as well as uncontrollable shaking. The xrays DID reveal that my spine is covered in bone spurs, which none of the docs out there would follow up on--the closest I got to anyone mentioning anything was that one of the docs went "Hmm. Did anyone tell you the lower half of your back is too far forward?" Gee, nope, I can feel that though. I was given a handicap window thingy for the car, and told I'm not allowed to bend a whole lot or carry heavy things. I can just barely carry our cats without my spine feeling like I got kicked there. I got a job cleaning apartments, but... it's difficult. :(
