Hi there! This is the fursuit page for
! This is where any of my fursuiting pictures will be posted, along with on the main page.
My suit is a Red-Tailed Hawk with some a tropical splash! It was created by
in 2014. I feel it's quite fancy! If you have any questions for me, toss me a note at my primary account and I'll answer them as quick as I can! This account is primarily going to be used for Fursuit related images, badges, and anything else related to that! My primary cons are Anthrocon every year, and either FWA or BLFC! I'll be adding more cons to the list as I find the money and time.
Thanks for looking ^v^

BLFC 2015 Recap - The best con ever? Yes. (G)
Taken from my main page:
So I just got home, but I wanted to write this now while it was still fresh, and before my week swamps me with work. I know a lot of my friends tried to make BLFC this year, and were curious how it went, so here you go! I'll divide it into sections! Photo album will be added tomorrow to the bottom of this post!
---
The Hotel: So BLFC is held in Reno, inside the Grand Sierra Resort. This is a casino resort and is run with the professional level one expects from a casino. The price is half what I spend for an AC room, for the same level of quality in the room. The wait staff and bartenders were top notch, very experienced and just great people. I'll be dropping a few notes about them in the GSR's review box because they were amazing. The casino security are professional and make everything feel very safe since they wear bright orange and you always know they are around. This was especially effective since there was an incident on the first day with someone that shouldn't be in the con space who was taken down and removed very fast.
This was honestly the first con I felt that I actually physically couldn't do everything I wanted to do in one run. There was still gocarts, bowling, mini golf, all sorts of other stuff we just didn't have time to get to since we were doing so many other things they offered! This hotel is /amazing/ for furries, and their open alcohol rules (which were extended to the con area!) meant that responsible adults could really relax and have a blast.
---
The Casino: Separate section for this. I'd never been to a casino, but this was incredibly fun, IF you go in with the right mentality. I actually ended up making about 80 bucks by the end of the con, so I covered a few days of food on the casinos dime basically. With the help of the bartender from earlier I was able to understand the free cockatil system and get lots of nice drinks, and the dealers were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. 100% of my money was won playing blackjack, and 100% of my money lost was playing craps, so theres that.

The Con:
1) Theme - So most of my friends know I am the biggest fan of FWA and their ability to take a theme and just nail it down. If FWA sets the bar for Themeing a con high, BLFC puts it in the god damn stratosphere. This was my first year at BLFC so I don't know what it was like before, but it was insane. The theme was Dystopia/Big Corporate Overlord stuff and it was totally pervasive (being the massive fan of cyberpunk that I am, this was just the best theme possible to begin with). Everywhere you went in the con space you saw signs like OBEY and SPEND MONEY and things like from "They Live", along with amazing art really bringing the theme in. There was great theme'd events and shows, etc. The cool thing they did was 99% of the posters were made of a simple paper that encouraged writing on it, so as the con went on the "Resistance" movement (along with pretty much anyone with a pen) started defacing the posters. There was some really badass V for Vendetta style graffiti across some of the images that just looked great. The theme was so good that it is being extended/having a sequel next year, so as a Loyal Citizen, I will have to return to defend the honor of Biggest Little Brother!
2) The actual con space/events - Once again, this was just awesome. BLFC finally nailed what I've been unable to put into words about AC and to a much lesser extend FWA, and that is the atmosphere for furries to socialize and hang out. Everywhere in BLFC's con space are tables. Like. Everywhere. In the main stage area, in the game room, in the dealers den, in the artist alley, everywhere. You never felt like you were separated from your fellow furries because everywhere was a Zoo (from anthrocon). The whole con was a giant Zoo with stuff to do in the middle of it, that had an open alcohol policy. And it had LOTS to do! Besides the amazing Boardgame and Video Game rooms, which were excellently set up, the con had 4 panel rooms, a 24/7 artist alley, and a GIANT dealers den, which doubled as a fursuit game area. Everywhere in the con was big poofy novelty dice, or a brightlight system to put cool messages on, etc. Everywhere you went there was fun stuff you could interact with, which was great for fursuiters and non fursuiters alike. I think their only misstep was on the first day, they had these Nightvale style Corporate messages that played over the intercom, which, while hilarious, kinda were playing over the main stage during someones performance. This was corrected by day 2.
3) Fursuiting - So I finally got to use my fursuit! First time! Debut event! It. was. AWESOME! and oh god was it tiring. BUT AWESOME. I got to run around in my suit made by
and burd it up with folks! I had great handlers from my friends so I didn't really get into trouble, and I ran around all 3 days. I feel I learned a lot both from suiting, and from the other fursuiters who were nothing but helpful to me while I was learning. I need to get a sort of attitude and routine down for my suit character, but it was super fun just to take pictures and give out hugs. The parade was a very short distance, but that + the photo before + wanting to get a fursuit tag collar AND a photo on day 2 really whacked me. I made it to the elevator before removing my head though. People really liked my suit which was great since my suit maker put a ton of work into it, and I think it is very pretty ^v^. I even got to find other birds to hang out with for the parade and stuff. I did learn I need some special cleaning stuff for between days, the alcohol/water mix I had was working, but I think I can do better. I think my only real issue was my gloves are still a bit tight. Hoping losing some weight over the next few months will help. I have trouble getting them on without help D:

Friends: So time for shoutouts to all the new friends I made! Usually at cons like FWA and AC I am in a really large group of friends which makes it hard to meet new people. It can be intimidating to try and talk to someone in the middle of a massive train of fuzzies. Since I had a much smaller group with me this time, we had lots of time to meet new people! We met
at a bar on Wednesday night and hung out with him most of the con! Really awesome guy! Super chill and fun to play blackjack with! Hope to see you at AC Frosty! Then I got to meet another burdbro
! Another totally great guy who I love his art! We taught him the ways of drinking with a...terrible crash course via Boozecube MTG. To his credit, that burd rocked his drinks and stuck with it! We even had double airport con! We gotta talk more Vulture bro!
found us via Syrinx and was just super great. Had some booze with us, showed us the main con room party (which was shut down due to terrible furry singing...and the casino noise complaints), super friendly! Wish I could have found you during the parade! I met a ton of other furs too but didn't get most of their names! <3 Tiny hippie gryphon and little toucan suiter! Euro at the party! Ruggy and Graft...like everywhere!
Of course, also my good friends!
and
! It was great to see all of you again! Lets meet back up at Anthrocon! :>

Bottom Line and TLDR (cause that was huge.): BLFC 2015 blew me away. The Staff. The Con. The Theme. The Hotel. Everything was just insane. I am sure I am forgetting people and things that I did, and if so tell me! There was SO MUCH GOING ON! I will 100% be returning next year. Gotta help Biggest Little Brother get rid of those Rebels!
