Name: Rudy Bear
Shikona (Sumo Name): Daiyuuki 大勇気 (Great Courage)
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Build: Athletic Heavy (Sumo build. I weigh about 230 lbs)
Job: Professional Sumo (I'm Makushita rank but I hope to achieve sekitori soon)
Hobbies: Sumo, Exercising, Cooking, Doing chores, Listening to music
Likes: All kinds of sports including Sumo (obviously), Baseball, Football, Softball, etc, Japan, being outdoors, eating,
helping with chores or fixing things, winning
Hates: Breaking things (Sometimes I don't know my own strength), disrespectful people, being hungry
Favorite food: Chanko Nabe
Favorite color: Blue
Personality: I'm friendly, fun, and helpful. I enjoy doing group activities. I can be very serious and focused while
training, though, and for every sumo match I lose, I like to learn from it and push myself to work harder. I'm brave
and strong but I can be gentle and non-aggressive (out of the ring at least).
Story: When I began the sport at age 15, I was nervous and fearful while training against heavier sumos. My stable
mates punished me to make me stronger. My stable master believed that I would become a powerful
sumo one day and gave me the shikona (sumo name) ‘Daiyuuki’ (Great Courage). He told me never be afraid.
I now have found the courage and confidence to beat any opponent, no matter how big.
