Origin and Story (WIP):

Sagi was originally a Mewtwo, a pocket monster with the ability to tap into psychic and plant powers. He was visiting the underground one day, trying to visit other lands, finding himself stuck behind the barrier. Even his usual teleportation wouldn't allow him to go past. Being a sort of monster himself, he had learned to live among the other monsters in the underground. While he was visiting New Home, he heard a commotion and found the young prince Asriel Dreemurr had been gravely injured. Not being able to heal the injuries with his own abilities and those of Queen Toriel and King Asgore, Sagi used his psychic abilities to keep whole the SOUL of the young prince as he tragically turned to dust. Sagi then put Asriel's SOUL into his own body, himself being artificially made and having a SOUL that wasn't natural, the young prince's SOUL was kept safe, but due to the Mewtwo's genetic makeup and the power of Asriel's SOUL, Sagi began to change into a similar form of the young prince, yet still keeping his own powers and abilities, as well as certain markings. The Queen and King were not sure what had happened and at first were dismayed. Sagi tried to explain that he knew that a monster's SOUL would quickly disappear outside of their body and he wanted to SAVE the prince the only way he knew how. Initially they could not accept what had happened, not being able to look at the former Mewtwo without seeing their own child inside as well. Not wanting to see them suffer anymore, Sagi decided to keep himself hidden from everyone in the depths of Waterfall. There he kept to himself, sometimes randomly chatting with Onionsan, but otherwise hiding himself among the tall grass and echo flowers. Many years passed and yet he didn't age, due to the prince's SOUL inside of him. Eventually he heard of a young child who was befriending all the monsters and trying to find a way home. Soon after, he felt a strong darkness and something that seemed to come for him, though he had no idea what. Afterwards he had passed out...but could hear everything going on, including hear Prince Asriel's own voice as well. After blacking out a second time, he woke up with the urge to head for the Ruins, as something inside of him pulled him towards that place. There he saw the young Prince Asriel tending a patch of golden flowers with tears in his eyes. Sagi felt the SOUL inside him cry out and with a great big hug, the former Mewtwo transferred the Prince's SOUL back into his body as well as half of Sagi's own physical mass, making him whole again. Sagi passed out again one last time, but awoke to see the Prince standing over him and smiling with tears in his eyes, holding his hand out for Sagi. To his surprise, Sagi was still a Boss Monster, he hadn't changed back after giving back Asriel his SOUL. Asriel dragged the other Boss Monster, heading back to his family again after so many years of being stuck as a flower with no feelings. Sagi on the other hand was freightened, still afraid of what the Queen and King would say to him after their original reaction to his form. As Asriel bounded forward and was firmly hugged, cuddled and kissed by his loving parents, Sagi stayed back in fear, watching from the shadows, even when the young prince called him over, he couldn't move. Only then did he notice the Queen coming over, the former Mewtwo wanting to run and hide but standing still. That's when the Queen knelt down and picked Sagi up, hugging him tightly to herself. She told him that they had tried searching for him after he had ran away, feeling guilty at how they had reacted at seeing a copy of their own son staring back at them when he had just been turned to dust. They were always looking but Sagi kept himself hidden with his natural ability to hide himself among the plants. The former Mewtwo only sniffled as he hugged the Queen back. That was she told the young Sagi that he could call her mom. The former Mewtwo cried so much as he hugged her tight, not ever having parents of his own, he had finally found a loving family to call his own. From that day forward, Sagi became a part of the Dreemurr family and hoped to live up to everything they stood for.
