Greetings to anyone still hanging on long enough to have me in their list. I'm still alive! its been a tough few years though. Went from being on an upward track to pretty much being near homeless.

Lost my job, lost my room mate and now I have a studio apartment where I have a sneaking suspicion there is a high mortality rate to gun violence both for civilian violence and police mortality - I will not expand on that...

I have, for the moment, managed to get a good enough PC to do "things" with, (*i.e. AI, 3d, CG, et all) I just have to figure out how to use it. Yes, I could install Windows software and pick up from where I left off. No - I am not interested. I've been "stuck" using Linux Mint for the past 10 months and I'm fine with that. When my new hardware showed up and I could finally install windows; I did, I installed W10, and I "Ick'd" back to Mint. Turns out 85-95% of the shit one uses a computer for you don't need Windows eves dropping on you for. You can also get most of that software for free too!

I suppose the two choices I have for OS-concentric software are Maya and Photoshop. At the same time fuck-them because I can't have a permanent seat license in each of them so I'll chose the next alternative. Blender is great and with scripting Gimp is OK. I can run single player games in Proton so Windows seems to be the multi player capitol so far----... While I'd like to play COD 2 I will be restraining myself so far because my current Mini PC is $1.1k and I have at least a $100 monthly premium for it.

meh, I'm back. at least for the moment. I needed a bit of normal. so her I am.

I drew 1-2 pieces in the recent past but I'm not proud of them. I'll post if its requested...


I suppose I sit outside the campfire in my own mind waiting for someone else to just pass through and say hi somehow.
