And already I'm nosing around the accounts of friends who've passed on in the years I've been part of the fandom, looking at tributes, reading uncommented on journals... It's a healthy thing to do, like drinking coffee at 11pm. I do wonder how many people now live on here as digital tributes, only remembered in the form of a scattering of art created by people who don't even know the subject is gone, and if someday this site itself will slip into the night like so much of the early internet.
