Well shit, it's been a while huh? 8 whole ass years have come and gone, and I've decided to reactivate this old, mostly buried account. Looking at this old crap laying around in here brings back a lot of memories of the people I used to know and hang with, but haven't spoken to for like, close to a decade at this point. Makes me feel a bit nostalgic but perhaps not entirely in the happy sense of the word.

A lot of stuff has happened since the last journal. Perhaps too much for just one diary style entry, but the most important thing is that I am still alive and well, despite the ups and downs that have come over the years. Since the last journal, I finished university, went on to work in the new media industry here and there. Tried my hand at other jobs in between contracts, and having just come out of my last venture into being social worker, here I sit in 2021, looking for the next place to get that paycheque. At the very least, I'm more well off than I used to be. Maybe I'll even pay off that student debt.

Anyway, just dropping this here to let folks know I'm still kicking it out here, so they aren't too surprised if I try and reach out to them. Here's hoping that will go well enough.
