Ringtail Cafe Productions is an independent publication company with a heavy emphasis on comic books and graphic novels. Their titles range from humor to horror, all ages to viewer discretion advised. The studio was founded by and is owned by:
The Tak, Head writer and writing director
Salmagundi Head artist and art director
The two oversee a number of projects, including their ongoing comic book series The Confectionaries and their titular series Ringtail Cafe. Currently they are in the early filming stages of their new upcoming television show: Making Comics...with Ringtail Cafe. The studio has been responsible for designing a number of art products that are used by artists around the world and has helped to develop curriculums for several schools seeking to use comics and graphic novels as a teaching tool. They are routinely guest speakers at educational events.

An update on the Ipad app, and some feedback needed. (G)
So, as many of you saw earlier we're working on an ipad app. Here's the part where it comes time to ask a question.
The current "version" of the app would be available/visible through the magazine rack on ipad rather than as a standalone app. This is the simplest, fastest way for us to get content out there.
We're also pursuing programming a more intricate version that is its own app with way more bells and whistles.
However, the biggest holdup right now is if we released the first app, then "mothball" it and start the new one, purchases would not transfer over. People would essentially have to start their collections over again. I know there are not a lot of titles out just yet, but I hesitate to pursue this path because in the consumers shoes, I would be a little disappointed.
Now, they -might- transfer if this one part we are working on works out correctly, but that's not 100% guaranteed.
The question I'm getting at is; would people rather wait and see the more polished app that will be fully up to what we want it to be, or would they rather see some kind of app now, because it could be a year or so before the other one was finished up.
Opinions are very much welcome and sought.

Cryptid Codex is one of the most fun card games I've ever played! I love it so so much!!!
I could live without them but it would be cool if I could have a program.
