Ravinia is a blood red dragoness that was born around twenty thousand years ago. She was born in the Age of Dragons, a great time of prosperity for her race. She grew up to be a influential dragon and even had a seat on the council of dragons. When she was around five thousand years old war fell upon her race as the humans of Mooncrest Keep started to hunt and slay dragons. The council was going to agree to go to war but Ravinia and her soon-to-be mate Evenasterox persuaded them to try a peaceful solution first. He failed and war ensued. On the day of Ravinia’s mating Evenasterox was slain as he burned Mooncrest Keep and killed those inside it. The war was ended and so was Ravinia’s life as she knew it.

So for the Ravinia went into hiding as ‘Lady Raven Pheonixheart’, and learned a great deal of shape shifting to hide as an elven lady and mastered the elemental magic of fire. She picked up knowledge in the elemental magic of nature as well. She took up residence in a fancy mansion on the western mountains of Eathra Isle. It was lonely but at least she was out of the war. She lived like this for fifteen thousand long years until a traveler came to her home and asked her to marry him. His name was Zeatherann.
