Terms of Service

Herein any work supplied to the customer, such as commission work and YCH pieces shall be universally titled ‘work(s)’ or ‘the work(s).’ Adopts do not fall under this title and the terms explicitly associated with it.

Please read these terms in full before supplying payment for your work.

Conditions of Service
I reserve the right to refuse my services to anyone without explanation or justification.
I will not participate in the recreation of certain subjects and themes. These include but are not limited to: explicit NSFW, gratuitous violence, gore, cub/babyfur, rape, incest. Works that glorify, normalise or rationalise oppressive hierarchies, such as sexism, queerphobia, racism, ableism etc. Please feel free to message me with any questions and we can discuss your requirements where relevant.
I prefer to work with ref. sheets however this isn’t an absolute necessity. As such, works produced without a ref. sheet incur an additional £5 fee.
I prefer to transact with legal adults (+18), and reserve the right to ask for photo identification before sending the customer a PayPal invoice.
If the customer is underage, I will only complete transactions if I am supplied with a photocopy or clear, high res image displaying written, signed and dated consent from the minor’s parent, guardian or other significant supervising adult with their full name in print. This is especially important for tasteful NSFW works, and protects me, as the artist, from receiving any unauthorised payments.

Artist’s Rights
I retain the work’s copyright*, and reserve the right to share and display the work(s) involving your IP, on any platform I see best.
*In the case of adoptable purchases, both IP and copyright shall move to the customer. I do however reserve the right to continue to share and display the adoptable’s original listing after the purchase is complete.

Customer’s Rights
Intellectual Property (IP) used in the creation of work remains yours in its entirety. I shall not reproduce or replicate your IP in any way, outside of the agreed piece(s) of work produced.
You may share the work online and print the work produced, in any way you see fit. You may not redistribute the work with the intent to produce profit.
All reposting of the work should clearly and distinctly acknowledge myself as the artist responsible for its creation. You may link either my Twitter handle (https://twitter.com/premgrove), or my FurAffinity handle (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/premgrove/), relative to where it is being reproduced.

Payment
No work shall be completed until the outstanding amount agreed by both parties is paid in full.
Blind payments: payment sent to me without first confirming your desired works and your being in receipt of a PayPal invoice from myself will not be accepted, and returned minus any fees incurred in the process.
Payment must be received within 24 hours of receipt of your PayPal invoice. This is to ensure protections for the artist against potential loss of income when holding onto slots that might otherwise be sold.
Payments will only be accepted through PayPal via. invoice. I will not accept payments without your receipt of an invoice.

Refunds
No refunds shall be supplied to those who have received completed works. All payments on finished works, including adopts, are final.
Partial refunds shall be supplied to those with drafted works at the following rates: Sketch stage: 60% refund, Ink stage: 40%. No refunds shall be supplied once colouring has begun. You shall also receive a high-res copy of the works in the state of its completion at the time of your refund.
Full refunds shall be supplied to those with works that are yet to be started only.

The Process
Slots for the production of works shall be completed on a queue-like basis. My process does not lend itself well to working on multiple pieces at a time, so you as purchaser, must acknowledge that the completion of work will vary dependant upon the length of the current slot queue. I shall do my best to update you, and once the work has begun completion earnest, I shall send you a sketch WIP, and a flat colour WIP to ensure that the work meets your IP’s specifications.
Commissions especially, will have three sketch WIP stages to ensure that the final piece reflects what you have in mind for the final piece. For YCH pieces however, I retain the right to conduct artistic freedom relative to the IP you have supplied.
