I don't know what it is, but around this time of year, I don't get merry, I don't act happy. I just get pissed. I am forced to listen to the same songs over and over all day at work. I don't find any point in gifts when the holidays aren't about gifts and presents, it's about being together, and being happy about it. I would rather give someone a hug, instead of buying them some $40 piece of junk they are going to say,"Oh it's so thoughtful" while thinking they don't need it. Everyone needs hugs. Everyone needs to be shown kindness and love, not given some expensive gift. That doesn't show you love them. That just means you like wasting money. If I had to get gifts, I'd buy something simple. Or I'd make them myself. End.
