Old school furry, new to FA for the second time running
not hiding who I am, just wanted a furry-only online spot again.
feel free to say hi
mostly here to post "furry specialty art"; I'm an adult/erotic artist and I'm sorry for the weird kinks that may ensue.

trying to not be totally absentee.
i struggle with social stuff and fandom stuff. I like things, but I often don't "bond" over media, tbh. I like furry stuff, see myself as "A furry" but not really as a "member of the fandom" - saying "I'm a furry" is more like saying "I'm a punk" or "I like hiking".
So hi. I like hiking. and neat humanoid animals and cartoons and monsters and fantasy and sci fi stuff in general. I like music. And nature docs. "Wolves of Yellowstone" is my favourite PBS documentary. I've backpacked a little bit, mostly small sections of the Appalachian Trail. I want to do a full section hike, maybe a thru-hike and the Pacific Crest Trail, one day when I can take a few months off and not be destitute.
I don't like abusive assholes, I don't like "drama" or living my life as a public figure. I don't like being around people like that anymore.
I'm an artist and I do self-published work. In my free time, I work for money at a dayjob.
Though pandemics and moving rn hasn't helped me at all.
I take trades, but I view these more as mutual appreciation gifts, not challenges or barter-commissions. I'm usually down with being commissioned, I don't usually put my work on sale, and it usually takes 3 weeks (or, a month) before something is finished. I'm not a editoral illustrator and right now I can't churn things out faster. I want my work to look a certain way, tbh, and that sometimes means having to schedule around disability.
My work looks a certain way because that's what I like and I'm no longer concerned with my work looking like a 1990's animation cel or a pin-up comic book illustration. Sometimes I make stuff that looks more "mainstream furry" but I find "the look" to be really tedious to preform. I like work that looks like that, but not making that. It's like house style v my own aesthetic.
I probably have boatloads of weird kinks that offset my "SERIEUS AHRT", lol. I probably don't mind yours, as long as you don't try to roleplay weird stuff in my comment boxes.
I have comments turned off for most of my gallery. I don't make a lot of comments and I don't actually like getting them. I appreciate those that I do, but some people are just really awkward and I'm really standoffish so. So. My scraps will have comments left on, and my journals.
You don't need to thank me for faves or watches. I thank people in advance for mine -- I obviously like the attention and appreciate your interest.
Some, well, a lot of my art is done by various members of my plural system. We don't hide that we're plural so much as we don't talk about it very much -- we're designed to come off as a single entity. If you understand that this level of identity fragmentation is a mental protection from instability, you might understand why. We don't really find any useful things from talking to the DID "community" and have seen too much abuse within said spaces to feel safe. That said, we're happy to lend a supportive ear, and to talk directly about ourselves.
Lots of us have alternate characters specifically designed to be fun to draw. Different people draw differently, usually all drawings are internal collaborations. Our/my "real art" (which isn't different from our furry art tbh) is pretty much all about disassociating and unreality and navigating between that and "the real world".
Fan/gift art is awkward but fine. Nudes are ok, but if we don't know you as a friend, check before making anything explicit or kinky.
If you want my discord, steamname, or whatever, feel free to send a message.
