Whoof, it took like a month after writing this to finally post. It’s a shock to me seeing that I last uploaded 3 months ago when it feels like it has been at least a year. Anyways,

Hey! I’m not dead, just in a state of artistic purgatory.

For background, I have a condition, among others, called myalgic encephalomyelitis, otherwise known as “chronic fatigue syndrome” which as you could guess, is a chronic condition that affects my energy. Keeping away from the complicated details, I made my last post just before getting my first job. I didn’t exactly know how it would affect me going in, since it’s only part time, but so far it takes up essentially 100% of my spoons every day I have work.

All of my hobbies have suffered, but I do seem to be making some kind of recovery in terms of how many spoons I have on my free days.

I don’t have the energy at the moment to do any art studies, which is an issue since, as you may have guessed, I have not found a way I am comfortable with drawing anthropomorphic heads. But also, I’m not sure how many people will relate to this, but I’m worried that my drawings give off a less-than-mature vibe despite the overtly sexual subject matter. It doesn’t help that several suspicious accounts have followed or fav’d my content (I’ve blocked them), or that this community seems to have many creepy subcommunities in general. The last thing I want is to be entangled with them. I’ve more or less swapped to traditional art which I think helps give my art the appearance of “adult-ness”, and I’ll likely also keep all of my kink drawings fairly hardcore/unambiguously sexual for the same reason. Traditional art seems to be much lighter on my energy than digital, so it’s what I’m sticking to now either way. Expect an upload or two pretty soon (I’ve already drawn both but I probably only have the confidence to post the second lol)

I’m going to be getting back on my ADHD stimulant medication sometime next year when I get my Medicaid back, which just so happens to also alleviate many symptoms of ME/CFS, so we’ll see how much energy I have once I’m taking it.

To sum it up, this account will likely stay dormant for most of its existence, but I will sprinkle in shorter, smaller drawings as I feel like it. I appreciate you having the interest to read this all the way through.
