Random rambling (G)
While more personal stuff has yet to go underway, I've just been doing a lot of random things to enjoy my time. Looking up artists and bands I've listened to, doing a lot of puzzles, playing games in my library, and even doing some niche self-discovery.
I completed PowerWash Simulator 2 weeks ago, the game offered a lot more than I was preparing for. It deserves a "sci-fi" genre tag IMO. I also had a bunch of laughs with RUKIMIN's Disappointing Adventure more recently, it does comedy with death traps really nicely. On the side, I've been playing a lot of SM64 romhacks to round out having fun with "rage" platformers. Thanks to having a controller I've explored extreme-difficulty hacks, and I adapted surprisingly quick.
The rhythm game side of games I'm playing can have its own entire paragraph. I've played 4k persistently for the longest time, and I'm at a point that younger me probably couldn't have imagined. I got to top 50 global in FlashFlashRevolution after 8 years of playing, and I'm still inching out improvements in skill every few weeks or so. It feels unreal to see myself at this point, and I gotta thank the people I spend time with in the community for providing motivation along the way. I've been extending that to other games too, playing a decent amount of Groove Coaster a while ago, 100%'ing Old School Musical, playing INVAXION before it went offline, and even going back to some mobile rhythm games like Bang Dream and SB69 Fes-A-Live. Recently Cookie Run Kingdom started a collaboration event with BTS, and it's been a mixed bag. The stamina system leaves me playing songs only 4 or 5 times a day, but most of the expert difficulties are fun to play and very solid in design. Mikrokosmos is an absolute mess though, I can see and feel everything wrong with that one.
I sometimes remember the band 04 Limited Sazabys, ever since I first discovered them back in 2015 with the game "Show By Rock!!" Turns out they released a new song just recently, which is pretty cool. They haven't let up on their style in the slightest. Also listened to Brunch (브런치) again, I enjoy every song in their album but the song "Imagine" always makes me feel like I can cry when I listen to it. There's a real lot of sentimental value I have with it.
I've been doing at least two puzzles every day, gotta thank CTC's community for providing daily puzzles to enjoy. Sometimes I go to dedicated puzzle sites and play a bunch of puzzles to gain experience in them. I really enjoy the genres of Gokigen Naname and Shakashaka, solved grids for them are just very pleasing to look at.
On the raunchier side, I've learned exactly what makes me tick. Despite a lot of stuff just being plainly there with me, it took this long to realize that I enjoy themes of pred/prey romance a lot. (For fun I've come to call the adult side of it "predplay" since it sounds close to the term "petplay".) Really explains why I have a thing for animals that would/could be predators for rabbits. There's one character related to it that I have the strongest crush on, too, which is Kintaurus from "Show By Rock!!" There are a lot of cute, cool, or even hot wolf dudes that come out of Japanese media, but he's the one my heart is set on.plus he looks absolutely perfect, I mean come on look at him
I took some sleep medicine an hour ago, so I'm gonna wind down for sleep now. Goodnight, enjoy an abrupt journal ending.
