We have lost our hearts abandoned in the darkness that is greed. What is beauty but the innocence, the youth of mother earth, the abundant love she shed for all her children yet now she weeps as the children have become blind and deaf to her cries, to her agony. She is still alive, beneath our feet, our spirits are connected all of life flows from her flesh and all life returns to dust, back home to the quiet earthen cribs that bore our ancestors long ago before there was existence of civilisation. Life is a gift, a privilege, it doesn't belong individually, it is shared amongst all of earth's children.
