Yes! November 1 is the official start of National Novel Writing Month! From November 1 to the 30th, thousands of writers from all around the world will be embarking on the ultimate quest - to hammer out a novel consisting of at least 50,000 words. Quality is irrelevant - quantity is the name of the game!

No plot? No problem! All that matters is that you get at least 50,000 words. That's 1,667 words per day. A monumental task, certainly, but fun as hell nonetheless!

I've been planning out my novel since September now and am getting *very* anxious for NaNo to start. There's only a few more things that I have to tweak, a few more plot holes I have to fix, and I should be good to go! I've never attempted anything like this in my life, so it should definitely be an interesting month. Considering November is usually gloomy and boring to begin with, it'll be nice to have a little excitement!

My only concern is that I'll suddenly be hit with twenty gazillion school projects at the same time, which will severely cut the amount of time I get to spend writing. But if all goes well and I manage to kick my inner editor out for a month, things should go smoothly!

I wonder if there any other furs that plan on doing NaNo as well?
