My equipment includes a refurbished Lenovo Thinkpad T400 laptop ($287) and an Akai Professional LPK25 usb/midi keyboard ($50). I include the prices because I believe anyone that doesn't think they have the money for "good equipment" to make professional digital quality music is only fooling themselves. I use Ableton Live 9 and Massive.
