The Kyree (G)
8 years agoThe Kyree is a predator which acts as a solitary animal and seeks herds to live with them in a symbiosis. The “host” ( the herds ) provides not only a camouflage to act as if is a prey animal – it also attracts other predators near. The Kyree, as beast of prey, hunts down other predators by separating the pack into individual objectives or by ambushing and surprise. It can be found in many different herds but leaves it once per year to find a mate – this usually happens in winter. After mating the Kyree searches for a new herd.
The Kyree feeds on fish, weak or sick prey animals and other predators. Prey animals are preferably killed at night to leave the herd in ignorance – predators, on the other hand, are killed through coursing or stealth attacks. The “breathing holes”, which are located on both sides of the neck, serve the Kyree to gain more stamina in a hunt. They are also very useful for fishing – Through the long muzzle and the breathing holes, a Kyree can keep its head underwater for a long time which positively affects the rate of finding and catching fish. The long claws on the front of the Kyree play an important role in the slaughter of a large predator – they provide support and serve as a defense aswell.
