I relented...

1. Was 2009 a good year for you? Bad would be an understatement.
2. What was your favorite moment of the year? There are a few... Probably the Bollinger Champagne moment or the second bottle of wine moment... not sure which one wins over.
3. What was your least favorite moment of the year? One long moment between waking up and the point of having to walk away from my mum.
4. What are your plans for 2010? Get the ball rolling on the charity event I'll be doing, try and pass my second year of this university course, keep my sanity, try to sort myself out.
5. What countries did you visit? None this year.
6. What date in 2009 will remain etched in your memory? 18th November and not for good reasons.
7. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Passing my first year... can't really think of anything else right now... maybe there was something.
8. What was your biggest failure? Not doing enough but I've come to realise no matter what I did nothing would have ever been enough.
9. Did you suffer any illness or injury? Not this year that I can remember, no swine flu for me!
10. What was the best thing you bought? Waffle! I got given an awesome egg cup though.
11. Who's behaviour made you appalled and depressed? A couple of friends but like I'm going to publish that because it'd only cause drama.
12. Where did most of your money go? Travel to uni, to my hospital placement, to London and to Coventry, my lunches, my phone bill, presents and birthdays.
13. What did you get really really really excited about? Visiting friends and Wuff... and an eggcup I got for christmas.
14. What songs will always remind you of 2009? Most of the songs on my iplayer that someone sent to me and Flogging Molly - The Son Never Shines (on Closed Doors)
15. Compared to this time last year are you:
a) Fatter or thinner? Thinner
b) Happier or sadder? Sadder
c) Richer or poorer? Poorer... well... depends if the lump sum hit my bank account yet or not.
16. What do you wish you'd done more of? Lots of things, spent more time with my mum talking, cooking for my mum and work.
17. What do you wish you'd done less of? Procrastinating, arguing, worrying etc etc
18. How will you be spending Christmas? 2010... don't know. 2009 was an awkward affair at home, next year might well be the same or an awkward affair at my brother and sister in laws.
19. Which LJ/MySpace/Fa/ect users did you meet for the first time? Meeting them online first? er... I never really spoke to the people I met/knew existed online until i met them in person. Though Yag, EvilSquirrel, LittleWolf I spoke to online before meeting them. Though I'd seen them around I met Zano, Asha and a few others.
20. Did you fall in love in 2009? Kinda... was in love with them for a long while before but kept it very secret.
21. How many one night stands? None.
22. What was your favourite TV show? Being Human is the only one I kept up to date with but I liked some other shows too.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Hate... little strong for a few that this goes for but yes.
24. What was/were the best books you read? I haven't read a whole lot this year, refreshed myself with Trudi Canavan books and read some of Robin Hobb's works.
25. What was your greatest musical discovery? I'd heard some songs before but never knew who did them but Frank Turner and Julia Nunes (though Julia Nunes might have been last year, thinking about it)
26. What did you want and get? Nothing big enough to really put here.
27. What did you want and not get? I wanted something but got half of that.
28. What was your favourite film this year? District 9... haven't actually seen many others this year. Everytime I wanted to see something, they had already seen it.
29. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you? I was 22 and I was working x-raying people in the Accident and Emergancy department before going home to do nothing.
30. What one thing would have made your year more satisfying? Nothing I can think of really.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009? More colourful than previously... t-shirts (some tops), jeans and trainers so nothing really different bar the colours.
32. What kept you sane? Friends and family... even if they don't realise what I've actually gone through or if they drived me insane. My brothers, sister in law, neice, dad (to some degree), Lilsi, Rob, Shirley, Viki etc kept me going.
33. Which celebrity did you fancy the most? None that I can think of.
34. Which political issue stirred you the most? I don't like politics because they only work for their own benefit.
35. Who did you miss? My Mum, Rob, Lilsi, Shirley... other friends that don't realise I appriciate their friendship.
36. Did you treat somebody badly in 2009? Probably.
37. Did somebody treat you badly in 2009? Probably.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned this year? Life is too short and one long uphill struggle.
