Been really busy lately doin artwork and story material, but first my take on Zootopia 2. No spoilers, just a personal opinion on how I took it and how it might integrate into my own alternate Zootopia universe story.

I found the movie entertaining, be it convoluted in story plots. Nope, not a typo. I said plots. In fact I feel there was enough material to serve as foundations for at least 3 movies. Really wished Disney did not cram them all into one movie. It was almost as if Disney was totally confused as to where to go next, who should be the villain, who should be the allies, and should we keep personalities of Judy and Nick as they were in the first movie or have them more evolved? This last one might have worked better if the time frame between movies was more than a week or two. I personally see a lot of confusion going on with Disney. Too many supporting characters being influenced by other supporting characters who should not have any influence over them especially considering their backgrounds. Like I said, Disney shuffled the deck of material for multiple movies and ran with a single movie after the cards settled. Not as well done as the first movie, but still a relatively fun ride.

On to my stuff now. I have been creating story and art even before seeing the second movie not knowing if things would fit in well or not. Now after seeing Zootopia 2 I have enough extra material for at least 3 separate events that in my reality will not be occurring at the same time as they did in Z2. Also, my story basically started about a year after Judy joined the ZPD so the events taking place in Z2 will not be taking place until almost a year and a half after Nick joins the ZPD. In my alternate universe this will work out much better.

For those of you not familiar with my alternate Zootopia universe, I do not ship Nick and Judy. They are partners on the force only along with being friends with benefits - know how much all Zootopia fans want their sex between the two. Zootopia is a very well thought out evolutionary world where most animals evolved into upright, bipedal species of their own. They are not humans in animal suits, they are separate evolved creatures, each one different than the other and incapable of producing cross species offspring. Please note - There are no half-breed creatures in either movie, therefore, they should never occur there regardless on how bad the shippers want mixed species offspring between Judy and Nick. Needless to say mixed species of any type will never occur in my universe.

There are a few mechanics in Zootopia that need addressing that are not going to be easy to come up with an answer to please everyone, but hopefully make more sense than what the current issue is working around. So, back to work with more images and a new story on the way.
