So...this is a little hard for me to talk about, but I'll do it to keep everyone up to date.
As of July 4th, my beloved kitty companion and best friend Nala passed away after many weeks of battling for her life, as the warrior she always was. I had to make the call because an aggressive form of cancer was destroying her organs one by one and you could see the pain she was in, particularly after she stopped eating, drinking or even struggling to walk and use the litter box. It was...hard, beyond belief, to watch her wither away like that and, ultimately, had to bid her goodbye whilst holding her small head with a hand.
I miss her so much, every single moment of my life.
2024 has been nothing but a big mess so far, with so little joys amidst the chaos which could be counted in one hand. I can barely hold everything together as it is. Please everyone if you have pets or dear ones, hold them tight and love them as much as you can.
