I had my birthday last week, and now I'm 33. And I had this account for 15 years. And I was only truly active for about 8 years, give or take?

FA has always been a guilty pleasure, and for some time its been a home for me. It's been a big part of my early adult life, and since the beginning, I've been asking myself, "When do I get bored with it?". All good things must get boring eventually, and I think I've found that out recently.

I'm not going to delete this account or all of my art; everything will stay as long as FA exists. And I'm not necessarily going away forever. I'm just bored of all the mosntergirls and nsfw furry stuff.
I'm writing this instead of just disappearing so my watchers don't get depressed. The thing I loved the most about FA is interacting with people who like my commissioned (and sometimes self-made) art and send me nice notes. I know my art has helped people, and I'm happy it has after worrying for so long that my ideas are worthless. FA has helped me in being a kinder and more confident person overall, even if I had some drama or two over the years (not usual for furries :P ).

It helped me get over my childhood shyness and helped me see the good things (and sometimes very weird things) in life.

Besides boredom. I feel that the world is not in great shape, not like how it used to be. I've soured on art in the last two years. It's hard to appreciate the good in dark and evil times. When the world feels like its being dragged into a black hole of despair. You know, a darkness that just seems to seep into everything, and anything good and pure will eventually be devoured by it. Its hard to look at the Shire knowing that Sauron will eventually destory it. I like describing the world in tolkienesque alagories. But I guess the darkness does pass, even if the night can seem long. But once that long darkness is over, you know you can't go back to the way things were.
