Hello everyone,

This journal is intended to update my followers and commissioners on my status since the COVID-19 outbreak started. As those in my queue already know, I've closed additional commissions for the time being and work on my commissions is temporarily halted. The reason for this is that my day job has been converted over to assisting with the COVID-19 relief effort, and my hours have much more than doubled since the outbreak began. I have been working every single day for weeks now, and there is no apparent end in sight as of yet as the virus continues to spread.

I live in one of the world epicenters of the outbreak, and since it started fewer and fewer people are able to make it into work. My department alone has five people down in a team that only had a good dozen people to begin with, and one of those people has been positively confirmed to have had the virus. I am simply unable to do much else other than work and volunteer at this time with how bad the spread of the virus is within my city, and until the situation improves I am simply unable to take on more work at this time. I do not believe with how stressed and tired I have been and in my very, very limited free time that I would be able to produce content at the level my regulars expect.

I apologize for those seeking a spot in my queue and those already in it. I was never a very fast writer to begin with, and this situation has not improved matters. For anyone currently in my queue seeking to back out, I wholeheartedly understand. Simply send me a note letting me know that you would like to drop from the queue, no questions asked. I will send what little I had written of my queued commissions free of charge, and your spot will be dropped. For those who want to keep their spots I am still committed to finishing everyone in my queue's stories, I simply do not know when my free time will open up again to be able to commit time to it. My queue will be finished eventually, and only when it has been cleared will I open my commission queue again.

I am sorry to those who have been awaiting stories from me, and I thank you for your patience and understanding. I have years of backlogged stories already written that I might begin posting here and there in the coming weeks to fill some of the gap until my life can begin getting back to normalcy. Hopefully that can serve in the short term while I wade my way through this pandemic.
