Just some fat, white, tall guy in his thirties who lives in Canada and happens to be autistic. In fact, I was diagnosed with Autism in 1999. I also happen to be very nostalgic for the better days of my childhood. I'm talking about the late 90s and early 2000s, or the Y2K era as I would often call it, back when I was a carefree child who had an overactive imagination and was much happier with life overall. This was a time period when browsing through the internet, or surfing the web, as we called it back then, felt more exciting, long before the brain rot, content farms, and the artificial, algorithmically generated slop that we see today.
I used to have imaginary friends, colorful characters whom only I could see. I didn't pay much attention in school. I still have nightmares to this day about how the public school system mistreated me. I would often daydream about encountering some large, ape-like creatures in the forest outside of my hometown, years before I knew what Bigfoot or Yeti was. I saw them as real creatures that existed somewhere in our planet, just like bears, moose, and wolves. These childhood dreams and fantasies inspired me to come up with a character of my own, a big, fat abominable snow monster named Crumbo, loosely inspired by the cartoons and the holiday specials that I watched on TV when I was younger.

Stuck on Windows 10 (G)
2 days agoI'm still using the same Dell laptop that I got back in 2018. I'm stuck on Windows 10, but I don't want to switch to Windows 11, because I've heard a lot of bad things about it. Instead, I would like to use a Linux distro, something with an interface that reminds me of what Microsoft Windows used to be like back in the good old days. I still want to use my laptop and my Wacom tablet for digital art. If only I knew what programs I could use. I'm used to FireAlpaca, but I don't think it has a version for Linux. I used to use Photoshop, but I'm still looking for an alternative. Some video editing and computer animation software would be great as well. I may also want to use my laptop to emulate a PC running MS-DOS and Windows 95, just so that I could feel like a kid again.
