Looking for some insight on Doing commissions (G)

With my job cutting my hours to part time if not less I was pondering starting cheap little doodles to help with my finances and further my skill~ But I'm not sure how much I should ask for,so I would like to ask those who might regularly commission or do commissions themselves what would be reasonable?
