Hey everyone, figured I should give an update on things now that stuff in my life is stabilizing, though plenty of things are still up in the air. I will try to explain some of what's been going on the past few months, in particular since my last update.

Ever since my dad passed away a year and a half ago, I've been looking after my grandmother. While it's not been the easiest adjustment, things were generally stable up until the start of this year, around the time I selected my last batch of commissions in fact. My grandmother showed signs of getting worse but refused medical care despite my insistence, then a week of continued decline lead to her finally giving in and going to the hospital. She had had a stroke and has been diagnosed with Vascular dementia, and now has severe memory problems that come and go.

During all this the area I live in also had more than one winter storm that disrupted the processes of getting her help, moving her between facilities, and visiting her. Now that she's back, I have to manage more of her diet, day to day care, finances, and am trying to wrangle the legal side of things, mostly on my own with occasional help from family. While I am able to have a fair bit of time on my pc, at any time of day or night I might need to go and try to tend to her and talk her through her confusion.

I haven't had a lot of energy to chat with people, and almost none to draw, anything, not even personal work for funsies. Anyway, now that things have calmed down a bit, I'm drawing a little bit at a time again, and will hopefully have more things to post and share in the near future.
