Om Namah Shivaya! Shivaya Namah Om! Hello, I'm Nagabear. I became a snake charming bear. I now live in India.
I'm about eight foot tall, slightly chubby, and very friendly. I'm single. And recently, have admitted to myself that I'm Gay. This is no big deal to me, and it seems the other snake charming bears, and the holy bears have no problem with this.
Usually, I wear a white cotton turban. I stopped cutting my hair years ago. I coil it on my head, and cover it with a turban. Bears, and others that like long hair, love to see it flowing down to the ground. But I like my turban.
I wear a long robe also made of white cotton. Or I wrap a big cotton sheet around me, pull it up between my legs, and tuck it in, in front.
My favourite garment consists of a cotton rope around my waist. I then hang a long piece of cotton material down in back. Pull it up between my legs, and tuck it in. The cotton material feals nice. Allthough, some bears say the bulge from the extra material, is just me showing off.
Then there are special times I wear silk, instead of cotton. I love very colourful silk. Orange, emrald, saphire, ruby, white and yellow are my favourites. Sometimes in more than one colour, or trimed in gold. These are for when I'm charming the cobra, for example, at a Palace of a Maharaja.
I also perform magic. This is when I use mass-hypnosis. My gaze is hypnotic. And I know many drowsy and sleepy sounding chants.
Jewlery is also important. Many of my audience are mesmerized by the jewel I wear on my turban. I also wear different jewels (to match the one on my turban) on a chain around my neck. I swing this from side to side. Hypnotist in Europe saw this, and substituted a gold watch.
The sway of my cobra helps to hypnotize my audience, along with the sleepy drone of my flute. And seeing my eyes close as I go into a trance, also helps to hypnotize.
I have some other friends, that I will tell about later. For now, this is enough typing.

Naga Bear (Chapter 1) (G)
Glenn was a normal bear. Sort of a loner. He was white, and chubby. There would be a change in his life very soon.
When Glenn was five, he was watching a nature program. Actually, he was watching whatever was on. It was 1960. It was a program about snakes.
There was a turbaned and bearded bear in robes. He was playing an odd flute. The music had a drone that was hypnotic.
In front of him was a basket. A cobra was standing erect, and swaying with the flute.
Glenn, having an overactive imigination, believed the cobra was going to jump out of the black and white TV and bite him! Glenn was very affraid.
Until he noticed the cobra was more interested in the charmer! The charmer had saved Glenn from the bite of the cobra. Glenn was so happy. He felt so relieved, that a wave of happiness flowed over him. This wave was also relaxing. It took him into a state of hypnosis!
Glenn was now a snake charming bear in India! Not the bear on the TV, but another bear. Glenn did not realize that he was recalling and reliving a moment from a past life.
When the comercial came on, Glenn came out of his trance. He now knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. He wanted to be a snake charmer. He had never seen one before on TV. He didn't know any thing about them. But he believed he'd have to go to India and learn how to do this. He also believed the sooner he left, the better. And that his Parents would have no trouble with him leaving.
His father was at work. His mother had just finished giving him a bath, and was drying his fur.
"Mother, I know what I want to be when I grow up."
His mother was surprised he mentioned this out of the blue. "Oh you do Glenn? What do you want to be?"
"I want to go to India now, and become a snake charmer!"
"What? No you don't Glenn!"
"Why Mommy?"
"They use poisonous snakes, that's why! You'll get bit and die! No, you can't go to India to do that."
Glenn was heart broken. This didn't keep him from his desire to charm the cobra.
As the years passed, Glenn became attracted to the Yogis of India. His favourites were the ash covered, garland wearing, extremely long haired and large bearded, devotees of the Hindu God Shiva. They were also naked!
Glenn didn't realize at the time, that there was more to his attraction to these holy males. Glenn also wasn't attracted to females. But he figgured it was his being shy. So he didn't worry about it.
He also began to meditate on pictures of these holy males, on the snake charmers, and on the Hindu God Shiva. Shiva wore a cobra, so Glenn found it easy to enter meditative states.
"Lord Shiva" Glenn silently prayed, "someday I wish to worship your live and sacred cobra. Or to meet one of your powerful, mystical and sacred holy males."
Glenn did not realize that someone was listening. And that someone would answer his prayers.
