Here will be the official bugaboo page introducing the lore and traits of the species!
There are certain rules into making these species and you must follow them in order to do so!
YOU MUST NEED THE FOLLOWING:
-must have claws (four or five fingers are fine)
-four toes (claws on toes are fine)
-skull face ( skulls can be different types exp: dragon,deer,canine)
-must have dark skleras (darker colors are fine)
-must have pupils
-must have fluff on back of legs and on arms
DESCRIPTION
THESE SPECIES ARE A SFW SPECIES. They are NOT to be made for NSFW PERIOD.
Bugaboos have different fur lengths on their bodies. The longer fur portions are mainly the mane, hands and arms, back of feet, down the back or on the tip of the tail. Their bodies mainly have medium to short fur length. Ears are shaved, tail is shaved except for the tip (males only) toes are shaved as well. They are only a half skull species. Ears must remain the same but can have multiple sets of eyes,arms,wings,feet,horns, and tails. They may NOT have multiple sets of ears.
Females have more of a slender body and have no hair on the tips of their tails. (female base is a work in progress.)
LORE:
Bugaboos are known as a monster skull species. They mostly live under beds and closets. Some scare children some do not. They are known for hoarding specific items whether those items are socks or toys or anything else they find appealing to them. They do not talk. They mostly mimic any animal noises they hear. Bugaboos have their own little dimension worlds. Depending on their fur pattern and nature they can live in many different habitats. They are known for either keeping the nightmares away or causing the nightmares in many children and adults. Diet consists of anything really. They are able to eat whatever they like. Bugaboos do hatch from eggs. Bugaboos have no age therefore making them immortal. They are very playful but scary creatures! Bugaboos can also connect to the spiritual world and have certain powers to control a persons thoughts while dreaming. They can act as guardians over the mind or demons that cause havoc. Bugaboos are generally designed depending on a persons likes or dislikes. (exp if a kid loves cotton candy then they will have a cotton candy themed bugaboo). They try to avoid being seen by others. They mainly stick to one person for the remainder of their lives until said person passes away they may choose to stay in their own realms or move on to another person. A bugaboos eye color can possibly change depending on what emotion they feel, but will always revert back to their normal eye color when content. The only time the pupil is dim/gone is when the creature is either sleeping or screeching. Bugaboos screech as a defense mechanism. It warns other threats that could possibly put them in danger.
