I'm a mother of one for starters. My interests are and defiantly not limited to:Drawing, music, reading, video games, movies, walking, bicycling, rollerbladin, beading and obviously playing with my child. Some might say I'm antisocial, which I am but more importantly I prefer to steer away from unnecessary drama and conflict. I'm not a skinny woman nor do I want to be even though I am self conscious about my body ( more so now with having a child ). If there's something about myself that I might have left out that you may want to know, don't hesitate to ask.

I am a bit shy. I find it very hard to open up and be myself when meeting anyone new. I often find that sometimes I open my mouth and shit falls out. (Not literally!) I have always thought of myself as socially awkward. I don't have a lot of friends, but that is by choice. I do not trust easily. I like to think once I am comfortable around someone that I am funny, but that could be just my opinion. I have a very kind and gentle heart.

When I was a teenager I realized that music for me was as much of a release as cutting. So when I was in a dark place I would find a small hidden space, put my headphones in and let the rhythm wash over my mind. Music transports me into another world and without it I dont think I would have survived a lot of my past. I am a Disney movie whore haha and really enjoy anything made by Tim Burton. I am a fan of the dark and eery but also of the glitter and magic. Sometimes I swear I could have multiple personality disorder because of all the complex completely different sides of me...my own interpersonal Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I am so light but yet so dark at the same time. I find piercings and tattoos beautiful as well as other forms of body modification. I respect those who want to be different and embrace their individuality. We have to live in society but we don't have to agree with it or fit into it. If we were all cookie cutter molds the world would be a dull and mundane place.

I like to think that life is like an invisible spider web, that when people intersect it can lead them to a whole new string of life and create the opportunity for others to intersect and for new events to take place. How interesting could this complex web be if we all chose the same path and did the same things as everyone else? It wouldn't even be a web at all. It would be a parallel line and that is not the kind of world I want to be a part of.

I am a very loving person and see people more as spirits, not a gender or body. I can love so many different types of people and I see them for who they are not the body or situation they are in. If I love something I love it, regardless of its outside appearance. Just like I love people, I also love animals and our planet. Neither can speak for themselves so I think that all humans should strive to care for and protect them. "God" (I use the term god loosely) gave humans domain of the Earth and authority over animals not so we can ruin them but so that we could cherish and look out for them. We all are part of an incredible Eco system where each of us (no matter how small) have a very important role to play in this dream called life. We have to coexist, and not take the invisible work going on everyday that is vital for our survival, for granted. Some people would say that I am a hippie or that I am weird, or abnormal. Think what you want to think, but in the end I know that I am just me.
