Heya there~

Just wanna do another lil check-in. More updates on:
- the state of my projects & what I plan to work on
- what I’m thinking of working on
- any other updates
- and let any of you all ask open-ended questions you’d like me to answer.


— Projects & Plans —
Down in the Dungeon is being posted publicly again, and I can see people are pretty happy about that. I saw some people thought the comic was dead because I hadn't posted a new page in so long, and I'm glad to bring those people good news! There are many pages to be posted, and they'll go up in the coming weeks. I'll be working on more pages when Pathwarden and I are ready to continue.

I sold a new YCH and that went really well! I don't remember what my highest selling bid ever was, but I'm really happy that this one went for $375. It helps pay the bills and it makes me feel good! I gotta cook up another one and sell it sometime soon.

The PMB comic hasn't moved since last I wrote. I'd really like to spend some time focused on that. For at least this next whole week, and maybe the week after that, I'm going to focus on that as my main priority. I think the problem I've had with making progress on the writing is that I never dedicate time to working on it day-after-day like I do with other projects. I keep having to figure out where I left off and figure out which themes I'm focused on and how to highlight those in the story. For at least the next week or two, this is my focus!


— Ideas —
I ended up making full ref sheets for Milo and Lantha after I was so happy with how Mila's turned out. The Milo one is public now and the Lantha one is going up soon. I want to make Buttons a new ref sheet now. After him, I want to make ref sheets for my side characters, namely Snowball, Lady, and Bo. Lady and Bo both have new designs that are not Raichu or Skitty; they have proper normal-animal forms now, and fully anthro! I might still draw them from time to time as their original forms, just as I do with Mila, but I like having options. Maybe I can offer ref sheets as a commission option.

Speaking of which, I've been thinking about opening up for normal commissions again. I haven't done that in forever. Maybe that will be what I can do when I finish the upcoming period of working on the PMB comic. I've noticed people tend to take the pricing option that gives the most detail for the cheapest dollar, and for me, that often means colored sketches, so I might mostly offer those. That also means less work for me, so that works out! And while working on those comms, or afterwards, I can also work on my next animation idea.

Oh, and I haven't yet worked on those ideas involving Lady, but I still have them. Maybe I'll do a stream soon where the theme is to draw more of these new forms for Mila's parents. Maybe it will be a parent's night out and I'll draw Snowball too!


— General Updates —
I've been hella sick lately. I started having chills, headaches, really bad stomach cramps, and a cough. I went to the doc and they told me they think my gut isn't used to the local diet, and I may have developed microbiology that's malicious to my gut. I've never spent so much time outside of the US, so this makes sense. We're pretty sure I developed stomach ulcers as a result, hence the stomach cramps. I've been taking an antibiotic that is designed to kill and flush out the bacteria in my gut, and then I'm supposed to take a probiotic after that, but man, the side effects of taking this medicine is discomforting. I'll finish taking all my meds by the end of this week, and I'll hopefully be back to normal.

Still settling the paperwork for my stay here in Colombia. We've got time to work with, which is great. I'm getting more comfortable speaking Spanish for daily things, like going to the store.

I finally finished Pokemon Ultra Moon and it was really nice! I've now finally played all gens from 1-9. Just as I did this, they have announced a new generation. I'd be more excited if I had a Switch 2, but I don't sadly. I'd love one, because I'd also like to play Duskbloods! Maybe a year or so down the road, I'll make it happen.
