Michiana Fur Meets: Introduction and “Rules and Regulations”

Welcome to the Michiana Furries FA page. Here, we welcome everyone. We want to invite everyone to be friends. Here, our goal is to create meets with a friendly atmosphere. We want everyone to have fun and just take the time to enjoy being with fellow furs and friends. While our goal is to try and include everyone, but for those without a lot of money, please be so kind as to take into account that there are people that would like to go to other things like movies, laser tag, golf, and other money costing events. While we will try to take these things into account, it will not always be the case.

After that introduction about us, please read over our Rules and Regulations below. We have these rules for a reason. We expect you to follow these rules at all times. We adhere to a one time deal system. This meaning, you break a rule, you’re gone. End of discussion. We expect that if you wish to attend these meets, you read our rules in advance. You bring a friend with you, you better explain to them the rules beforehand. Failure to abide by these rules will result in a permanent ban from the meets unless stated otherwise. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!



#1: Alcohol is forbidden. Exceptions will be made on certain holiday meets if any take place. Such stuff will be mentioned in advance. Unless stated otherwise, it is forbidden at all times.

#2: No begging people for a drive to the meets or for money to attend any of the money costing meets. If people are willing to drive and pick you up, then they will offer to pick you up. Just mention in that meets journal (which will be posted here on FA) that you are in need of a pickup. If we catch that you are begging people for drives, you will be banned. Please keep this in mind that most people will ask for gas money to pick you up.

3#: If you’re having life problems, leave them at your house. These meets are for us all to relax and have fun, not be the bare of your problems. There are those of us that are willing to talk to you about such stuff, but keep them out of the meets.

#4: (NON-BANNABLED RULE) When attending the meets, please inform someone when you plan to leave the meet area. This is especially crucial for anyone that got a ride to the meet. If the person that drove you there wish’s to stay and wait on you, that is there call, but should they leave you behind, have plans for another ride then. We will not be responsible for anyone’s irresponsibility. We like to know where people are as to not worry about your safety.

#5: Fursuits (Fulls and Partials) are not permitted at all the meets unless stated otherwise. MURR suits are banned period with NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Tails are acceptable. Personally, we’d like to say they are allowed all the time, but we must realize that there are people and businesses out there that do not like it and we will respect that.

#6: Keep cussing to a minimum. Pretty much all our meets will be somewhere public. Children will be around us.

#7: Be responsible and pickup after yourself and take care of things that are not yours. If you open a can of pop, throw it out when your done. If you just eat dinner, throw your trash out when you've finished. If you broke something, please tell the appropriate person so that it can be fixed.

#8: When stated in the journal that PARENTS MUST BE PRESENT. This means that all 17 or under attendees must have a parent present during the event. This lowers our risk of any issues that we might come across at the event.


These are all the rules for right now. Journals will be posted for any updated rules along with any changes to them. If you have any questions about something not listed here that might be potentially wrong and in question with our standards, ask us for clarification then.
