Thanks for stopping by! For those of you who don't know, and I imagine that's almost everyone, I'm Mecomimi! I have finally decided to start managing some of these online accounts and using them to make friends and share my skills as an artist. Though I'm no where near the level of many of the artists on this and other sites, I hope you will still enjoy looking at my artwork as I post it.

So, on to my update for the day...

I've open and sold my first commissions! That's right! Mecomimi has done it at least! I opened a YCH commission and I received 3 offers. I realized afterwards that it's standard to only do one per YCH, but there doesn't appear to be a strict rule against taking multiple commissions for the same one, so I think I'm good? Anyway, I'm so happy that people are already taking an interest in my work even though I just started posting online here!

Perhaps a bit prematurely, I took about an hour and went ahead and wrote up a commission journal. I'm worried it might have a little too much to read (because I know people don't tend to like to read, I guess?) but I wanted to be detailed and thorough. I did highlight specific points to make skimming easier though, so my hope is that it will help potential clients not feel so overwhelmed.

Anyway, I'm super excited to start taking more regular commissions! I'll be posting more YCHs over on YCH.Commishes soon too, for anyone who's interested. It's mostly for furry art, so I'll be trying to do more of that. That's right... I'm gonna play to the market, baby! I'm cool like that! XD

I hope to be posting more artwork up soon, and I'll be trying to keep up on my 4 different accounts (DA, FA, YCH.C, and Tumblr). We'll see how well that goes.
