Masculism is a political, cultural, and economic movement aimed at establishing and defending political, economic, and social rights and
participation in society for men and boys. These rights include legal issues, such as those of conscription, child custody, alimony,

People, male or female, who identify as Masculist believe that men's rights are just as important and valuable as women's rights
and should be defended accordingly.

Masculism is an attempt to put a stop to discrimination against men in society.

In the legal system: Men who are falsely accused of rape, domestic violence, and other forms of abuse have almost no way to
defend themselves because most judges and juries will view a woman as naturally innocent.

In domestic violence issues: Nearly 45% of all domestic violence sufferers are men. Despite this, most domestic shelters will not offer them refuge.

In the Armed Forces: Only men are required to register for conscription into the armed forces in the event of a national emergency.

In rape charges: Men are more likely to be raped in prison. And women rapists tend to receive less severe punishments than male rapists.

In prison: Women on average will receive shorter sentences than a male for committing the same crime.

Men don't live as long as Women and tend to receive less retirement benefits.

Genital Integrity: Female genital mutilation or female circumcision is very harmful and abhorrent, especially if done to an unwilling female. For these reasons it is justly outlawed. But Male Genital Mutilation or male circumcision, although also being very harmful, is still standard procedure in much of the United States and is performed on thousands of non-consenting newborn boys everyday.

Gender Specific Diseases: Cure research for women's diseases such as breast cancer and ovarian cancer, while noble causes, receive priority funding over male disease like prostate and testicular cancer.
