Welcome to my collection of character art!

Lymril is the character I currently play on FurNet IRC. I am the founder of #SoftPaws, a mostly-worksafe general furry chat channel. It has absolutely NO RELATION to the magazine of similar name! Frankly, I think the demented pedo who started that rag should be denutted for his perversions and the problems he's created for my channel.

All of the works posted here were done by others. A few of them are commissioned works but most are gift art from people who knew me during my years on IRC. Some of these artists have pages here on Furaffinity but others I lost contact with many years ago. Many of these works I am very lucky to have and I will appreciate them always. Character Description:

Character Name: Lymril

Species: Linsang
Gender: Female
Orientation: Flexible
Body: Usually anthro but on rare occasions can be drawn as a quadruped (Jingle Pup by DarkIceWolf).
Legs: Depends on the pose, artist's ability, general preference, etc.
Hands: Four fingers and a thumb. Palms vary according to artist's style.
Feet: For digitigrade, four toes, standard paw pads, no dew claw. Plantigrade varies but I prefer the toes
to resemble animal paws with standard toe pads. Lymril has no heel pad at her ankle.
Height: Linsangs are small arborial cat-like creatures so she's not very big.
Weight: Long and slender. Linsangs look like elongated cats.
Breasts and hips: She's long and slender so keep her boobage to a minimum and her hips modest.
Age: Adult but still young.
Base color: Can vary from tawny yellow/brown to a pale buff depending on the picture.
Markings: A mixture of stripes, spots, and irregular blotches. Color cn vary from dark brown to black
depending on the picture. Check my scraps for pictures of RL linsangs
Eye color: Varies from dark brown to amber to blue depending on the picture's needs.
Other colors: Lips black, whiskers white, claws a pale color. Nose and pads are a grayish pink.
Hair color: Lymril has no human-type hair. She has ears to decorate her head.

Common mistakes: Making her body oversexed. She has a modest body but a sexy MIND. Her markings are often poorly done, making her spotted rather than blotched. Take a look in my scraps for pictures of RL linsangs. DarkIceWolf did an excellent job on his "JinglePup" picture of me.

Lymril is a female linsang belly dancer specializing in the Turkish cabaret form mixed with a touch of ballet and a generous portion of gymnastics for striking leaps, dizzying spins, and dazzling floor work. She resembles a small, elongated wild cat with her ferret-like body, long ringed tail, and tawny fur patterned with dark streaks and blotches. Linsangs are a relatively rare character species, small and cute. As a dancer of Asian origins, she is very slim and light with gently curving hips and not an ounce of excess boobage. Despite her subdued form she doesn't shy away from revealing costumes of sheer silk that leave little to the imagination. Lymril can be a challenging exercise in visual composition with her complex coat, swirling silks, sparkling adornments, extreme motion, and flowing body.
