Desh is an (eldritch) alien that I came up with back as early as 2010. Originally she was inspired by my love for Giger's works (the Xenomorph, Sil from Species/the mysterious and horrifying Martian Race from that title), a bit of John Carpenter's The Thing, as well as later stuff like The Shimmer from the Southern Reach trilogy books (by Jeff VanderMeer) inclusive of it's Movie adaptation "Annihilation".

She has A LOT of lore, and has undergone many changes since I first made her back then. I've recently been divulging in writing more serious stuff for her universe.
